[Sparkling chirps Clotted Cream's pet name back at him with a chuckle, his hair buoyed up around his head by the water. Like this, it looks even more like it's fizzy and bubbly than it does when he's a Vampire, helped along by the real bubbles floating up through it occasionally when he moves. The way he blushes is...extremely, extremely cute, to the point where Sparkling can't resist but to lean in and press a quick kiss to his cheek.]

Surprise. I thought it might be fitting if this year, I spent the holidays down here, with you. I cannot think of a place I would rather be.

[Ah-- Having attention drawn to the flush on his face makes Clotted Cream sputter, and he makes a great effort to clear his throat to cover it.]

Sparkling's scales are utterly vibrant gold and white, save for a few splotches of pure black, such as on his face and neck. If Clotted Cream thinks about it for more than a moment, he will realize these are his scars, manifested in a different way.]
